Gina Coleman '17 Recruiting Profile

As an athlete, I aspire to be the best. I'm overwhelmingly competitive and a hard worker. When I first started out track I thought it didn't suit me, but eventually I enjoyed it. I loved it so much to the point where I told myself I'd do my best to compete in the Olympics for it. I still have that as my "sort of out there" goal and every day I put in hours of exercise and practice to inch, or centimeter, my way to that goal. It may seem like a long shot, but track is my life and I'll do what it takes to improve. I do put high expectations on my self and get a little disappointed if I don't exactly reach them. I push my self hoping to progress. I put in the time in and out of practice. Academics are just as important as sports and I work hard to maintain a good GPA. I strive to thrive.
