Placing 4th as a team at the GISA State Track meet as a junior has been the highlight of my high school track career. It was that same year I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete. At the beginning of the season, our team set a goal to win the Region 2AAA meet, but after suffering an injury and battling inclement weather throughout the season, we fell just short of the title. That experience helped me grow as a person and urged me to focus on achieving our next goal: beating that team at state.
I am a 5’8”, 145lb, multi-sport and multi-event athlete. Over my high school career, I have learned the value of teamwork, sacrifice, commitment, and leadership. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both academically and athletically. I would prefer a school closer to home, but I am willing to travel. I believe that I have the talent as well as the work-ethic to compete for a college team. As a three-sport athlete, I feel that I have what it takes to be a part of your team.
