I am a very ambitious and motivated high jumper. I grew to love the sport very quickly after being introduced to it my 5th-grade year. I was awarded MVP for my track performance my 6th-grade year out of the whole 5-8th grade classes. I like to practice as much as possible and get very excited when it's track time. Last year I competed at the State competition earning 8th place & All-State recognition for the high jump. I also placed at State my 8th-grade year, 8th place then as well. I have had time to improve my jumping and I try harder every time. I can't wait to see what I will achieve this year.
I've recently found a love for 300m hurdles as well. I started last track season and from the beginning of the season to the end I improved my time by 4-5 seconds. I am excited to see what this season will bring.
