I've always had aspirations to compete in the Olympics, and with that, it motivates me to do and be the best I can be. What sets me apart is my determination, persistence, and extraordinary work ethic, which I learned living on a livestock farm. What really sets me apart from others is my mental fortitude and positive attitude. I participated in track 3 years during junior high. It began with me wanting to do distance but my coach made the decision to have me throw. In those three years, (Covid 6th grade) I placed 3rd in the state my 7th grade year, and 2nd in the state my 8th grade year after fighting an illness for the tail end of my season. Going into my high school throwing career, I knew I had a high set standard, so I made sure I went above and beyond what I believed I could do! I made it to the state competition with the goal of making finals and medaling. I did just that, and got 8th place in 1A discus! I also placed 4th in a tight battle at National Junior Olympics in the Hammer with a throw of 134' 5".
