Destinee Rine '27 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for everyone viewing my page!! What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am a quick learner and I love to set goals for myself. I am also a great team player and love to watch my teammates grow as well. These are some good traits because I am easy to work with and a fast learner. I have been running since I could remember but in 6th grade is when I could finally actually join the track team. Ever since then I have ran various races but I fell in love with the 400m and 100m. I also am on the 4x1 and 4x4 relay as the 3rd leg and 4th leg ( I switch back & forth). I have come so very close by one second to go to state and almost even got the school record in junior high but I missed it by 2 seconds for the 400. 

I also compete in tumbling, double mini, and trampoline. My mom taught me since I could walk how to do the simply tricks. Then in 2016 is when I joined a gym and started to focus on backhand-springs. After I had some difficulty in that gym I switched to another that had all three of the events. Once I started to go there I dramatically saw the difference and so did my family. I have went to state and nationals many times and in the year of 2024 I got 1st at state for tumbling. I am competing this year as well and I moved up in all three events. 

I am in the class of 2027 going into my sophomore year of high school. I am really looking forward to graduating and preforming at the next level. I am very competitive, focused, determined, and grateful to meeting my goals and seeing how far I can come. I am looking forward to showing coaches what I can do for my sport.
