Personal Statement
My name is Madison Elijah, and I will be a senior at Hebron High School in Hebron, Indiana. Over the years, I have played many different sports. But since I started running in the 6th grade, I knew I loved running most! My goal is to run at the collegiate level while earning my degree.
Running has changed my life. Not only has it strengthened my body , it has also strengthened my mind and spirit. Running at the level I hope to achieve has instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility and respect for myself and others around me. It has taught me to look inside myself and strive for better to reach the goals I have made for myself. Running has also helped me to acknowledge my limitations and search for help from my teachers, coaches, and teammates.
