I have just started my senior year at Hebron High School in Hebron, Indiana. Hebron is a small school of 340 or so and Indiana does not have a class system for wrestling. Because of this, I would be very comfortable attending a smaller school and am not afraid to square up against the giants.
I have been on the wrestling mats since I was five years old. I am the oldest son of a teacher and HS wrestling coach so this sport is a big part of our family culture.
The expectations placed on me have always been significantly higher than my classmates and teammates. However, I have gladly accepted and embraced that role. I have participated in numerous travel club events, including national duals, individual tournaments, and summer camps. I was the first sophomore in our schools history to be voted team captain and I currently hold the school career record for reverses. I am a conference champion, a regional qualifier, and academic all-state. My only conference loss came in the finals match of my freshman season to a senior who placed at state.
I am also a multi-year letterman in cross country and track. I am on pace to being a twelve time letterman by lettering in all three seasons in each of my four years of high school.
