I have competed in track and field since 5th grade and I basically fell in love with the sport. I love track and field because you are really competing against yourself. You are competing against yourself becaue you need to have the mentality that you can do anything if you push yourself and put your mind to it. As a freshman, I was the top scorer for our girls and had the fastest times. I am now a sophomore and I am really excited to see how I will push myself this year. I also try to focus on my grades too and stay above a 3.0, as i have a 3.63 right now. I believe I am different than some athletes because I am very obedient and open to hearing anything to help me and my teammates improve. I help my teammates if they ask for it and always strive to be constructive and not critical. I eat right and go on runs to help increase my endurance. The environment of Track & Field and such an amazing thing and I hope to always be surrounded by it.
