September 2021Personal Statement
My name is Rihan Price. I am from a small island called Barbados but I am a girl with big dreams. I have a passion for athletics. Track and field is my freedom; when I train, tighten my track shoe laces and prepare my mind to execute my best on the track; I feel most at peace and happy. My joy lies with the e 400-meter hurdle event. Prior competing the 400-meter hurdles, I was a 100-meter sprint hurdler. My overall goals are to become the best 400-meter female hurdler in my country and to shine in every event I am entered in, knowing it did of my best. I intend to study Business Management. Academics are very important to me, so I make it my priority to balance my studies and sport. I am a hard working and determined individual.
My Motto- If you mentally defeat yourself, you are defeated physically.

- AwardsI received certificates of achievements for outstanding working throughout the years at my current Secondary School. I have 4 certifications and they range from 5-7 As; 7 being the most as to be had .
- ActivitiesI am a member of Nxt Generation Gavel Club. In this club I learn and develop my public speaking skills, having a fluent vocabulary and my debating skills. I truly enjoy being a member of this club. Another extracurricular is also another club that is based at my school in Barbados, at the Christ Church Foundation school. The name of the club is the CCFS Creative Writing Circle. In this club we develop our writing just and tune in to our writing and creative nature specific to us.
