Katie Collura '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Katie Collura, and I know I would make a great candidate for your cross country and track teams! I consistently push myself at practice and consider myself a driven athlete. I challenge my capabilities and work to accomplish goals I set each week. I stand out from other recruits, as I always work to have a positive attitude and be uplifting towards my teammates.

One of my proudest moments as a runner occurred when I placed 6th at the LHSAA Cross Country State Championships in 2016. I know that many achievements similar to these are to come, and I’m very excited to keep my head held high and prepare for my athletic career in college.

As for academics, I currently attend an all girls Catholic high school. I believe that it continues to shape me into the person I am today. I’m a dedicated student-athlete with a strong GPA and plan to pursue a successful degree in nursing.
