Corynn Cochran '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Corynn Cochran and I started playing beach volleyball almost two years ago. After deciding with my family that club volleyball for indoor was too large of a commitment, I decided to train twice a week at the beach volleyball complex near my house. I quickly realized how much I enjoyed playing beach and the immense improvements I saw after going back to my high school team the following year. I became a faster, stronger, and more explosive player all the way around. 

This past year I recognized that my love for indoor was becoming less and less as I began to play more beach volleyball. For various different reasons I made the decision to do beach only after this past season. I am excited to have the ability (and the schedule) to train and work harder than ever to play at a collegiate level. I am a positive-minded and determined leader both on and off the courts. I will continue to train in order to further my volleyball career.
