My name is Allanuh Robinson and I’m going to be an upcoming Senior of Bladensburg High School. While I have a fantastic GPA, have done volunteer work, participated in a number of extracurricular activities, and have credentials that well outweigh the competition, I won't pretend that these things make me qualified. I love track and field it’s my happy place . When I run and jump I just feel so free. Of course there was some struggles that I faced such as COVID-19. It hit Us pretty hard making us all fall for hardship. My education seemed like an option for me during that time because I was very unmotivated to the point where I didn’t even wanna go to class online. But I came across the quote stated by Ken Blanchard, “Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and whilst each member of our team is an expert in what they do, not one of us is as smart as all of us together as a team.” This statement made me want to do better because I realize that we’re all going through the same thing but that shouldn’t keep us down. I didn’t let it keep me down and I attended to be great. My education will undoubtedly give me the information and abilities to help others. I wanted to major in Business Administration where I can supervise the business operations of an organization. Helping individuals who are less fortunate find hope in their life is something I aspire to be able to do.
