Hello my name is Taliah Mott. My collegiate goals are to, go to to a 4 year college/ University, to get my bachelors degree in Animal Behavior and minor in Psychology, be a honors student, and to make it to be in the IAAF World Athletics Championships. My aspirations in life is to be happy first in everything I do, to be successful in my career, and to give back to the community by starting my own track and field team. Why I would be a great candidate for their team is because, i'm a hard-worker in the classroom and on the track, I am a team leader, i'm dedicated, I'm a self motivator as well as a team motivator, i'm a team player/ good sport, I congratulate my team and other teams, and lastly i'm fun to be around. What makes me different from other recruits athletic wise is, I always make sure someone records me when running and jumping so I can critique my runs to better improve myself, before runs unlike other runners who try to stay to themselves and think to much about the race I like to distract myself in a sense so the nervous wont build up during a race. For instance, I like to talk to my teammates shake my legs and arms out to loosen up. What makes me different academic wise is I believe that I take more notes then required just so I can have them just encase, I take plenty of good advice from teachers that will further benefit me, and lastly I take constructive criticism from not only my coach but from older teammates and teachers as well.
