Running has always been a huge part of my life. I would love to go to a D1 college, and run Cross Country and Track and Field there. I am a very determined, and driven runner, always wanting to do the best I can. I make goals for myself and conquer them by training hard, and never giving up. I believe what makes me different from other athletes is that I am very competitive when stepping on the track, or the Cross Country trail. I am very competitive which is great because it gives me an inner desire to succeed, and beat whoever I am competing against. I also have self discipline, and optimism, which makes it easy for me to practice for long days, and see the outcome which is bright. I am able to take criticism, and always trying to improve upon my running abilities like speed, endurance, and strength training. Lastly, I have a strong sense of focus. This allows me to stay in the moment no matter who I am competing against, or what obstacles may come when I am training or competing. This also means that I stay focused on achieving each goal as it comes, and never forgetting the big picture.
