Personal Statement
Hello Coaches! I began throwing my freshman year of high school with a PR of 27ft in shot put and I do not have an official throw for discus but was throwing around 60ft. Unfortunately, my sophomore year was cancelled but I improved my throwing in my junior year with a PR of 35ft 9in in shot put and 104 ft in discus. All of my throws have been standing throws but I am eager to learn and try glides/spins this year. I would love to compete in college for the Shot Put and Discus. I enjoy competition and different techniques of throwing. I have a 2.9 unweighted GPA which I plan to bring above a 3.0 before graduation.
