Quarantine Traini...Personal Statement
My name is Janson King, and I am 17 years old. I am 5'6", and I weigh 145 lbs. I aspire to be the absolute best runner that I can be. There is one quote that I choose to live by. This quote is "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift" by Steve Prefontaine. I live by this quote because I choose to pour all of my heart and soul into running and making myself better each and every day. Something that sets me apart from other athletes is my mentality. For me personally, running is a mental sport. I have the ability to block out the little voice in my head telling me to quit. I can assure you that you will never see me quit. Along with running in college, I plan on becoming a traveling nurse by getting my RN and then going on to become a nurse practitioner.
