Hello, my name is Caleia Johnson. I am currently a Senior attending Park Hill High School in Kansas City, Missouri. I have been running track for several years since I was 9 and it has always been my passion. I love the endless possibilities of running track. Track pushes my physical and mental limitations. There is always a new PR I can push myself to reach. Through running track, I have discovered characteristics in myself that have helped me on and off the track. It has taught me the benefits of hard work. It has taught me dedication and has built my self-confidence. These characteristics have helped in my academics. My academics have broadened my understanding and I use this to help me live and run better. I am self-driven to represent the best student athlete that I can be. With the help of my coaches and teammates, I stay positive and maintain a can-do attitude. I believe that hard work and dedication can overcome any obstacle to life success. Currently, I have an interest in a majoring in kinesiology and exercise science.
