Personal Statement

I am hoping to further my academic and athletic career at the collegiate level. I started running both cross country and track my 8th grade year and have continued to compete, and have great success in both, at a varsity level throughout high school. I have always had a passion to give my all to everything I do and to never settle for less than my personal best. This passion has not only helped me get to where I am today, or to compete in 7 state championship meet (clinching 4 state champion team titles so far), but it has also motivated me to maintain my 4.0 unweighted GPA. I am hoping to find myself a place on a team at a university that will help me excel and reach my goals as a student athlete and young adult.
