I am a rural, Mid-American girl who has been raised on traditional values. The only thing in my home valued more than education, athletics, and service is character. I have been taught that, in every decision or direction in life, character guides the way. I know this may sound old-fashioned to some, but I believe it is a truism in all facets of life.
My college coach will not only discover my honesty, loyalty and integrity, but also that I am hard working, driven and competitive as well. Early during my junior year in high school, I received a serious ankle injury and was out for 5 months following surgery. Afterwards, I worked very hard in physical therapy to recover in time for my Senior year. Sadly, the Covid epidemic wiped out any hope to compete in, what would have been, my last season.
While at Allen Community College, I have only continued to get stronger. While there, I was the Co-Captain and a starter of our 2021-22 volleyball team and have a 3.9 GPA while pursuing a career in medicine .
I am currently enrolled as a student-athlete at Iowa Wesleyan University where I am pursuing success on and off the volleyball court.
