I am a Senior in High School and have a joy for running. I love competing and want to get better. I take leadership on the team when there is a need and make connections with everyone so there is a good environment. I am a 3- sport athlete and take the opportunity to improve from the pool to the track. I have a positive attitude no matter the situation and work hard to earn good grades in my classes. I strive to meet the standards that my teachers and coaches expect out of me.
When I made it to the State Championship I realized how much dedication it takes to compete at the next level. I want to become serious about running and be on a team that I can connect with. I have learned that to reach goals I have to think competitively- if I put my mind to it, then anything can be achieved. I have learned that I love the environment running provides and to succeed you have to listen to your coaches and put in the extra time. I desire to be better than I was the day before. My academic goal for high school is to finish at the top of my class. For college, my academic goal is to be in a major that I am passionate about with teachers and peers that are personally invested in me.
