After high school, I plan to go to college to get a degree in some sort of athletic department. Whether it’s an athletic trainer working with professional athletes, or a personal trainer helping an individual reach their fitness goals, I want to purse some sort of athletic career. It is my goal to continue a healthy lifestyle, help teach others about healthy living, and keep myself and others active. I’ve been in sports all my life and they have really helped my mental health. I thrive being on a team; I love bringing people together, making lifelong friends, and improving with one another. Without my cross country team l’m not sure I’d be in a good mental state. My team and running has gotten me through many hard times, and I want to continue my love for the sport into my college career. I think I’d be a good candidate for any team because I have the drive to improve not only myself, but the team; I love being on a team; and want to prove what I am capable of. I am still new to the sport; I didn’t start running until I was a sophomore in high school. But, I improved quickly and am continuing to better myself. I hold my schools cross country school record, and am hoping to break more when track roles around. I hope to continue my love for running with a college.
