I appreciate you taking the time to look at my profile. My name is Kailynn Gubbels and I will be a junior at Arlington High School in Arlington, Nebraska. I have been around track my whole life with my father being the head boys and girls track coach at Arlington. I started hurdling when I was about 8 years old. The next year I started high jumping and I developed a passion for the event. I would consider myself a hard worker in athletics and academics. I put in the work for every sport I participate in not only in season but also in the off season. My goal for academics is to keep a GPA above 3.7 throughout my high school career and so far I have accomplished that goal.
I would say that I have good leadership skills. Although track may seem like more of an individual sport you still compete together as a team. I push my teammates to their fullest potential as they do to me. I would be a good addition to any team because I don't only work hard to make myself better, I help others make themselves better as well.
