Personal Statement

Ever since I participated in elementary track and field days, I knew that I wanted to continue running through high school and college.

I train very hard in the off-season, so I can be happy with my results during the season. I know that every little bit means a lot, and I constantly push myself to be the best I can, even when times get tough. Running track has taught me the meaning of family, and it has also shown me that limits exist only in the mind, and they are meant to be broken.

My work ethic carries over from the track into the classroom. I am dedicated to studying and maintaining a high GPA to be in the top of my class. I know that academics come first, so I am devoted to keeping my grades up in order to succeed on the track as well.

I would like to attend a college where I can excel in both athletics and academics. I hope to find the right fit for me that allows me to compete at and push myself to the highest level. I want to find a college with coaches that push me to truly do my best and encourage me throughout my journey. I am devoted to constant improvement, and I am never complacent with remaining the same. In running collegiate track, I aim to inspire those around me and make my friends and family proud of who I have become!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
