To start, my number one priority for college is my education. I believe getting a good education is the reason to attend college in the first place. Secondly, next to education I think it is important to be involved in athletics. I have been involved in some sort of athletic event my entire life and I truly believe it's what has shaped me into the person I am today. It just so happens that the sport I decided to stick with was track & field. Track gives me a chance to not only work on my individual goals but to help shape the team into the great program it is. My collegiate goal is to hopefully run on the track & field team while also furthering my life goal of working in the medical field. I believe I have what it takes to do this due to my organizational skills and my drive to achieve the goals I have set. I not only want to succeed in both my education and my track career, but I want to enjoy the experience. I've always wanted that chance to run on a college team and to be able to further my track career. By running track in college I'll be able to achieve both my academic and athletic goals.
