My name is Emily. I am starting my Senior year. My main sports are cross country and track. I run the 200M and the 100M in track. Track has been a big part of me since the eighth grade. I want to make it to the Olympics in track. It is a big passion for me. Even when I failed and wanted to quit last year because I was stressed with struggling grades, mental health, and not improving in my track times no matter how much I tried, I knew I didn't really want to quit. Track takes my mind off of everything. I didn't quit because I knew that every single athlete has good and bad races, and it motivated me to continue trying. Even in off season, I train by going to the gym, building muscle, building endurance by running a few miles a few days a week, and practicing my sprinting techniques. I have also attended online workshops to learn tips and techniques to improve my form and technique for the 200M.
