My name is Rona Wu, class of 2016 and my passion is track. I am a good candidate for the track team because I always give it my all at practice and at meets. I never give excuses to take a day off. My hard work and dedication has shown through the large improvements in my track times especially my 400m time. I decreased my 400m time by 16 seconds since my freshman year, and my goal for my junior and senior year is to continue decreasing my 400m time down to at least 62 seconds or below and my 200m time down to at least 27 or below seconds. Track helps keep me on top of my school work, and it has taught me to never give up on anything even if I am tired of it because if I push myself, I can improve and achieve the goals I have set for myself. I aspire to run track at a college with high level competition in the classroom and on the track. I am looking for a team that will help me reach my full potential with track because I feel I have only scratched the surface on what I can achieve in this sport. I will go as far as I can for my passion and that is track.
