Personal Statement

Dear Coach,

My name is Daniella Napoli and I am a current student athlete at Monroe Woodbury High School in Woodbury, New York. I have been member of the Monroe Woodbury Girls Varsity Cross Country and Track Team for three years. I am looking to run at a competitive college on the DI or DII level.  I'm an extremely dedicated and motivated runner who truly loves running and competing. I started in the sport as a competitive youth runner. I qualified for numerous USATF Junior Olympic National meets, including numerous youth state and regional meets and won numerous titles. In addition to running,  I played soccer for 11 years (6 years travel, 3 of which were premier league), and I also played 8 years of basketball.

I have been a member of Monroe Woodbury's Varsity Cross Country and Track team since freshman year. I currently hold two cross country school records.  I have been fortunate enough to compete at state and national meets while running for MW.I feel that I would be an asset to your program because I have by far not reached my potential as a cross country/ track runner.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
