My aspirations are to get into a school that I will succeed in academically as well as in Track and Field. I would like to be challenged to push myself so I can preform to what I believe I am capable of. I am a very determined, competitive, and hard working as an athlete and student. When I set a goal, I know what I need to do in order to achieve it, and I will stop at nothing until I reach this goal. Because of my hard work and dedication, last season I was .47s off my season goal for the 400m. On top of that, I competed in the National Junior Olympics in Greensboro, North Carolina. Athletically, I am very self driven, and this summer, I had 3 hour workouts every morning starting at 7:00am. I essentially coached myself with some workout plans from my parents where I ended up taking .50s of my previous PR. Academically, I have the ability to balance exceptional grades as well as continue to excel in sports. I would like to pursue my passion of Marine Biology at the collegiate level. I am a very optimistic and open-minded person who will find a way to learn from my mistakes, and I'm able to improve on them to excel in both sports and academics.
