I started off running CYO track in the 2nd grade and continued until I was 12. After the 7th grade I stopped running, but regained my passion for the sport at the end of my sophomore year when I ran on my high school's varsity track team. In my first year running indoor track, I had held a 3rd place county title in the 55m and a 1st place county title with my 4x2 relay team. My relay team and I went on to place 3rd place in the Indoor State's Competition in the 4x2 relay and I knew from then on that choosing to run again was one of the best decisions I have made thus far in my life.
