My name is Addison Vellekoop. I am a Junior at Guilderland High School, in Guilderland, NY. I have been a part of the High School Girl's Varsity Track team since 7th grade, and the High School Girls Varsity Cross Country team since 7th grade as well. I have had a very productive last three years at the varsity level but recently improved my running massively in the last few years. I have been running since I was in 4th grade, and did youth running camps, until 7th grade when I joined the High School Girls' Varsity team for my first cross country season. Cross country and track have been a big part of my life for a very long time. Academically, I am only in multiple AP classes, maintaining an overall average of 97. I am very dedicated academically as much as I am to athletics. I aspire to study psychology in college. I am looking to compete at the most elevated level of competition. Even though it is very early in my high school career I am looking to attend a college that will bring out the best in me academically and with athletics.
