My name is Anisah Williams, I am a 17 yr Senior at Eastridge High school and I have been running cross country since 8th grade. Running has always been something I enjoyed but it was a secondary sport to me; for 7 years my life revolved around basketball until 10th grade when I officially ended my basketball career in order to dedicate myself to running year round. What makes me different from other athletes is I understand sacrifice and taking large risks to win and follow a dream. My surroundings have motivated me to want something better for myself and cross country/ track has been my opportunity to do so. I am willing to push myself and test my limits. I can take constructive criticism, turn setbacks into comebacks and adapt to various roles on a team. I hope to continue my running career at the college level and I am willing to go wherever running takes me. After college I would like to pursue a career in Physical Therapy or Athletic training.
