2022 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I've always loved running, despite what activity I found myself doing. When I officially started competing in track and field, I fell in love with the sport and dedicated my days to practicing and improving my running skills. My family always told me that "tiny drops of water make a mighty ocean." As I kept that quote in my mindset, I persistently worked on lowering my records and tried many events in which I wasn't entirely confident. Recently, I was honored to be a part of the girls' 4x100 relay team at my school which broke the school record, and I was also selected to serve on the Student Athletic Council.
