My name is Kimberly Jackson and I've been running since my freshmen year of high school my goals if I were to compete at the collegiate level is to get my 400 to a 58 or 57 but I know that'll come with hard work I'm ready to take on. I run the 400, 4x4, and 4x8, with my pr in the 400 being a 1:03.3 and my 4x4 split a 1:02.3 I plan on ending this season running a 1:00 or 59 in the 400 and I would like not only just do the 4x8 but also run in the open 800 as well this season. I feel that I'm good candidate for your team because of the amount of heart I have for the sport, I'm one the biggest teams players you'll ever meet. I enjoy encouraging/pushing myself and my teammates to not give up no matter what the work is so we can all see the results we want. No matter what I want to not only see myself do good but I want to see my teammates succeed as well. I also feel like I'm a good candidate because of the drive I have for the sport, I never compare myself to other athletes and if I'm doing so, it's to see how can I get to where I want and need to be. The drive have to be better allows me to not give up and keep pushing even if its something like a difficult workout or not the time I wanted, I use those things has motivation instead of negativity. I look at running as a craft that I want to keep on perfecting. Academically I'm always ready to learn and very open to new things even if its difficult and my strong suit has alway been english but I'm becoming more open with difficult subjects like math. For my SAT scores as of right now I do plan on retaking for a higher score because I know I could've done much better. With all that being said I hope that you see something in me and that I can possibly be a good candidate for your program!
