Taylor Metz '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Taylor Metz, and I am a senior at Hicksville High School in Hicksville Ohio. I have done track since 7th grade and cross country since 9th grade. One the course of my time in these sports, I have received varsity in both track and cross country all three years in high school. I have also gotten a teammate award. I work well with the whole team and I always am there to spread encouragement to my teammates. My favorite thing about cross country is the family aspect of it, I love how close you can get with your team out on long runs. My favorite thing about track is racing against friends from other schools. Circling up before races and praying are my favorite way to unnerve before running. If I were to run in college I would hope to continue my legacy of having a good attitude and being a hard worker.
