Justine Hodson '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I am a dedicated student-athlete looking to enroll and compete in the fall of 2021. I am in the graduating class of 2020 but I am taking a gap year, so I will be with the recruiting class of 2021.

I have been pole vaulting for three years, and before that was a National Level Diver for nine. I am a National Bronze Medalist in the pole vault and two-time Provincial Medalist. I am a five-time Regional Champion and a four-time Collegiate Record-Breaker. Due to Covid-19, I was unable to compete and practice this season, so my PR of 3.45m is from June 2019. Every year that I have been able to compete in the pole vault, I have improved my record by 25 cm or more. 

I am hoping to attend a top-ranked school for academics as well as athletics. With a 97% academic average and countless extracurricular involvements, I believe that I am an incredibly well-rounded athlete. 

I am a leader and a positive influence on all the teams I compete on. Pole vault is my passion, however, I have been an instrumental member of my swim, cross country, track, tennis, and badminton teams throughout my time in high school. I have also started my own club dedicated to climate action and taken on countless leadership roles through my school.
