Madeline Warren '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maddie Warren and I am a seventeen year old, 5'3, 130 pound senior from Ottawa, Canada. My ambition is to attend an academically challenging university while pursuing my passion for track. I am extremely proud of my accomplishments having only started track a little over a year ago when I retired from competitive soccer. My proudest moment thus far was making it into the final 8 of the 100m at the Youth National meet held in August this year. I continue to dream big and my goal is to run the 100m under 12 seconds this year (my pb is 12.37s) and to start the 100m hurdles. I am no stranger to hard work and presently train two and a half hours a day, five days a week. I try to bring commitment, discipline, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to every workout. While I am open to all sorts of opportunities, my dream is to attend a division 1 university where I can be challenged and grow athletically, academically and socially. My career goal is to become a lawyer and I would like to pursue a liberal arts degree (possible majors: sociology, psychology, criminology, pre-law.)
