While I might not be the best at anything, I am one of the hardest workers you will ever meet ask my teachers or my coaches. I work hard because I have to; I am an athlete with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), which is quite challenging with events like hurdles. But I love the feeling of flying over a hurdle. It is like nothing else; I love cross country and volleyball, but my true love is hurdles. I will tell you coaching me is not easy; it is sometimes very frustrating because adjustments that athletes could make easily take me longer because of my DCD, but I'm willing to put all my effort into every practice; I'm the first there and the last to leave, I will give you my all. I have served as a captain at my previous school twice and my current school once, and I love it; I love creating fun ways to unite a team and make it more of a family. So if you are looking for the best, I'm very sorry that is not me and I don't want anyone to think that it is, but if you want someone who is willing to fight for every spot, every point, every second, every mark, every percentage, I am your girl.
I am in Grade 11 (junior) at Trinity College School, in Ontario, Canada. I was born in Michigan but have lived in Barbados my entire life. I have attended TCS for one full academic year and now am in my second while continuing my academic and athletic career.
