After graduation, my plan is to study biology with pre-dental advising with the intention of becoming an orthodontist. My goal is to attend a college that has a rigorous academic program and a strong athletic program. Prior to track and field, I was a competitive gymnast for ten years and a level ten for the last two of those years. I participated in gymnastics and track during my freshman and sophomore years, and although I love both sports, I decided to leave gymnastics to concentrate on pole vaulting after my sophomore year. This experience allowed me to develop the life skills such as time management, determination, and teamwork.
In school I am involved in Peer Listeners, Hawk Ambassadors, Medical Club, Art Club, and Movie Club. Outside of school I am involved in dance, ballet and pointe, service work, and enjoy the hobby of playing violin. I hope to succeed academically and athletically during my time at college. Throughout college I strive to continue to be a well-rounded student, athlete, and just everyday person.
