My name is Attleigh Maloney, I am a 17-year-old athlete currently in Grade 11 from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I train under RossAnn Edwards with Riversdale Athletics established in 1968. I train two times a week with Rossann's speed endurance group and two times a week with the sprinter's group. I do stationary bike workouts once a week, and do power training at Craven Sports twice weekly. This all adds up to around twelve hours of training per week. I also am an assistant coach for the Riversdale Junior Development program. I am a strong team leader and have always been a helping hand to whoever needed it. I have been voted Team Captain every year I have been eligible for it. I hold a seat on the Atheltic board where I voice my opinions, listen to other athlete's wants and needs, and make things happen so my teammates have the same amazing experience I had. Being so enriched in the track community gives me a sense of family, track has become my second home. I put all my time and effort into this sport while being able to maintain a healthy balance with school and relationships with my family and friends. I have consistently accepted all the challenges I have been faced with coming out with the best possible results. I hope to continue my career to the national level and will strive to get there.
