The two years that I have been pole vaulting have been both enjoyable and rewarding. This past year I set a new school record while maintaining straight A’s and participating in year-round competitive cheer. I assumed the leadership roles of Women’s Pole Vault captain and Chapin Varsity Cheer’s co-captain. These positions helped me to realize the importance of modeling the behavior I wish to see in my teammates and consequently prioritizing self-improvement. In addition to my involvement in two competitive sports, I have a GPA of 5.398 and scored a 1530 on the SAT. 

My goal is to join a D1 program and vault 13’6” within the next two years. I am looking for the right opportunity to learn from a coach who can help me develop and fine tune my skill set in order to fulfill my goal. I am fully committed to both athletic and academic excellence. My competitive nature and work ethic will make me a valuable component to a team.
