I grew up always being involved in sports, I played basketball throughout middle school and then slowly proceeded to switch to running sports. Track became my life, in middle school I ran 100 and 200 meter hurdles which lead my coach to change my running path. I ran my first 400 open as a freshman and I was certain I had found my race. I had done relays and other field events but the 400 will always be my favorite. I ended up winning regions which solidified my spot running at state. I had a great experience and strived to go again in the next year but Covid took its tole and prevented Track and Field for my school. I also participate in Cross Country and it has really helped with my strength and endurance. This coming season I hope to get back to state and achieve my goal of standing on the state podium. I'm very dedicated to Track and i certainly am willing to give it my all. Running in college would be a dream come true.
