Jaci Mungia '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been throwing discus since the 7th grade, that is when  I fell in love with the sport. Every workout, every track meet, every year, I push myself to be better than before, constantly setting and reaching new goals. I love competing with myself, working to become better every day.   I am passionate, self-motivated, and, most importantly, coachable.   

I maintain a high GPA in my high school courses and dual credit college courses.  I am a leader on and off the track. On Sundays, I volunteer at my local church and during the summers for our vacation bible school.  I am the Junior class president, leading many events throughout the year, such as See You At the Pole, Cancer Walk, and Operation Christmas Child (Pack a Shoebox).  

I want to continue to grow as an athlete who can be a positive role model and give the younger kids in my community inspiration and a love for throwing!
