My name is Sophia Olivarez. I am a senior at Moe and Gene Johnson High School in Buda, Texas. I have run track and field competitively since the 7th grade, and have always dreamed of continuing to compete at the collegiate level. I am extremely reliable, hardworking, and passionate when it comes to my devotion for track and field. I show up on time to every practice and will always put in 100% effort. I have a strong drive to get better every single day, and I love to work as a team and set good examples for other student athletes as well. Running relays has always been something I cherish, because of the camaraderie you experience with your team mates.
I wish to get a bachelors degree in education and eventually coach middle school or high school students. I believe I have what it takes to help students flourish and reach their own personal goals they have set for themselves.
