MIRAYA MORADO '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Miraya Nichole Morado, I am currently a Senior at Crane High School, in Crane Texas, and have Confirmed in attending the University of Dallas to run Cross Country and Track & Field. I have lived in Crane my entire life, Love being a Lady Bird. I have been a Varsity Cheerleader so far my entire time at Crane High, been on Varsity Cross Country, and Varsity Track & Field. My passion is Running and Jumping, but most preferably Long Jump and Triple Jump. My Personal Best in Long Jump as a Senior is currently 17'  in Triple Jump 35' 3" and training hard to improve. My biggest collegiate goals is to be able to befriend my professors, become part of the school spirit, represent my school to the highest ability as a running and/or jumper..... and not be a drop out...LOL just kidding. The reason I believe I would be a great candidate to the team is because of my competitive mindset, my easy training/learning manner, and like my summer track coach always tell me, "keep shooting for the moon, because you land somewhere". What makes me different than other recruits in characteristics is that I'm very dedicated, helpful, and outgoing, which is probably the same thing that everyone else says, but I really mean mine.....LOL. In athletics, I push myself, even when I feel like a llama, I still push myself harder to complete my task. In academics, not going to lie, my grades are great 87% to 96% of the time, even though I worry about them 100% of the time.
