I have been throwing since June 2, 2013. Even though I didn’t start off wanting to throw on the collegiate level or professionally, as time went on and I started to get more interested and better at throwing, the interest on making this something I wanted to do for as long as possible grew. As I get better year by year, the amount I train as well as the intensity in which I train increases.
I have quick foot work and good awareness of where I am in the ring. I train all year round and started a harder training regimen this year. I like to ask questions and take critics on how I can get better with my throwing no matter how small the detail.
In addition to competing, I have trained kids on my club team and students at my mom's school school to throw discus and shot put.
In the classroom, I study as hard as I can to maintain my grades. I am in HOSA, DOCS, and REALM which is a literary magazine at my school.
I don’t just want to compete in college, but I also want to compete and win the Olympics as well as win many other world titles. Besides throwing I also want to either be a pediatrician or go into sports medicine, or maybe even be a coach.
