I began running in the fall of 2014 at age 11. Over middle school I competed at the national level in USATF and AAU championship races. Early in my running career I was able to experience racing. In 2017 I began my freshman year at Founders Classical Academy. I was state runner-up in the 3200 and 1600. In 2018 I managed to get my times down and finish up the cross country season with an individual state championship as well as a team state championship.
I am hardworking and disciplined, and I will put in the work it takes to compete well at the collegiate level. As an active athlete I not only focus on conditioning my body physically but also mentally. My Dad is a former army ranger and wrestled with West Point and he has educated me on the importance of mental strength and grit. I push myself in all areas of my life, academics and athletics are both very important to me so I put in the necessary work to maintain a good GPA while also excelling athletically.
Above all I value character. I am the oldest of 7 kids which has enabled me to practice the virtues leadership brings. Outside of the house, I am a leader on my team as well. Our team is a second family to me and I am very blessed to have great teammates and great coach's. We all push each other and encourage everyone on our team.
I hope to continue my running experience in college. Please contact me or my parents for any questions. Thanks!
