Sarah Cook - Shot...Personal Statement
Hello my name is Sarah Cook , I have been doing shot put and discus since middle school. 7th grade year I threw a 34‘ 1.5 and in 8th grade I threw 36’ 6 3/2 with a 6lb ball. I’m currently a senior and still continuing to throw. This year as a senior I threw 36’ 6” with a 4k ball at Regionals. I advanced to the state meet where I placed 9th in 3A in Texas. I am currently holding our school record for girls varsity shot put at Marion high school in Texas. I am truly blessed to be apart of our program and to continue breaking records. I hope to continue to break my own records for shot put.
