Hello, my name is Krystal Marye Yvonne Cadogan. I am currently in the 8th grade. My school’s name is Briscoe Jr High in Rosenberg Texas. Last year in the 7th grade, was my first time doing the High Jump. I won third in District. This year my coaches selected me for the 4/200. 200 mm, and the High Jump which I have to challenge and keep my spot each week. In the 4/200, I was as the anchor leg in the relay. We won first.
Athletically, I have always been in sports. I was a Junior Olympic gymnast for approximately 12 ½ years. My specialty was Uneven Bars, which I won bar champions many times over those years. Running was always part of our conditioning which I started to really love how running made me feel. I have chosen track over junior Olympics and I am working every day to work on my running techniques to get better. I have joined a running program after school, as well.
Being a gymnast all those years has prepared me to be a hard worker, focused, disciplined, and have a winning attitude. To keep my skills in gymnastic, I now participate in a team gymnastic sport three times per week instead of six days a week. In school I am part of the Concert Band in which I play the tenor saxophone. In all my ensembles contest, I have won first place (1) three years in a row. In addition, I play drums and piano.
I want to be a Marine Biologist with minor in Business and run track in college. My long term goal is to be an Olympic track star*.
Regards,
Krystal
