My name is Keirstyn but everyone calls me Keikei. I am now a junior high school. I first came into contact with sports when I was 6yrs old. I started playing softball and fell in love with the game and have been playing every since. I played league ball for about 5yrs and after that I started playing select ball. My first position was a catcher but eventually moved to centerfield. I like centerfield(when I get action) but my grandmother always said that track was my sport but softball kept me so busy I really didn't have time for anything else. Once I made it to Jr. High though I played volleyball, basketball, softball and ran track. My grandma was right I LOVE track ! I am currently the District/area holder for the triple jump record (8th grade girls) for the triple jump. My goal for H.S. is to become a state champion in whatever events I participate in and compete at a high level in college and eventually not only make it to the Olympics but to become a Olympic Champion. I love sports and I LOVE to compete and in any competition I'm going to give it my all.
As for my academic goal in H.S. I want to do my very best to put myself in a good position to get a scholarship. I would like to go into the medical field during college and become a ER Dr.
I have a large supportive family in everything I do and most of all my mom who sacrifices everything. She is a single mom and will give me and my siblings her last for tutoring, softball dues, athletic gear or just to have spending money for a weekend tournament.
My grandpa was also a big influence in my life he taught me about God and faith. Sadly he passed away Dec 2017 so I dedicate everything i do in sports to him as he was a big sports fanatic.
