Personal Statement

I am a Junior at Tri-Cities Prep, I run Cross Country and Track and Field. Being that my school does not have a Track and Field program, I run for Chiawana High School. My running carreer started out a bit late in life, I was only an eighth grader when I realized I had a passion for running. 

Unfortunately for me, I was too afraid to start running again once high school began, which was a huge mistake of mine. Running again my Junior year showed me that I have a real talent for it. I am great at setting goals for myself, such as beating my PRs and being consistent about the amount of time I need to take to improve more and more every day.
